The sheep regret to report that Bruce has reclassified the blueberry field as a luxury coastal destination with no ocean and several strong opinions about linen.

The sheep were informed this week that Bruce has officially declared the blueberry field “the new Hamptons,” a claim he delivered while standing in the row spacing with the serene confidence of a lamb who has recently discovered the words “summering” and “scene.”

Lodging away from home also rose again in May, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which Bruce said proved that people are now paying more everywhere and might as well do it near blueberries.

Frankie immediately endorsed the theory and began referring to the outer rows as “the quieter side of the property.” Whitney said the field did carry a certain emotional brightness. Fancy Pants replied that brightness and coastal prestige remain separate concepts and should continue to do so. Janet asked Bruce to stop calling the bucket station “the provision desk.”
